We provide high quality consultancy and facilitation services for public sector and not-for-profit organisations, drawing on over 30 years’ experience of the public and voluntary sectors.

Joanna Davey and Jackie Hunt bring a wide range of skills and experience to the consultancy.

Joanna's professional background, personality and training make her a highly effective and expert operator:

  • Her background in senior management for housing associations includes extensive experience of managing teams and projects including large-scale development programmes.
  • She enjoys developing people and teams to achieve their potential, particularly thriving on working with people who lead their organisations and take strategic decisions.
  • She has a masters degree in Civic Design, a postgraduate qualification in leadership mentoring and executive coaching and has trained as a mediator.
  • Her extensive experience of governance stems from her work as a trustee, company director and board member of several organisations, including chairing the board of a large housing association (10, 000 dwellings) and its group board.
 

 

Jackie has over 20 years' experience in the field of working with people to enhance organisational effectiveness. Since 1998 she has worked as a consultant specialising in organisational and management development in higher education, housing associations and the NHS. Prior to this she worked in human resource management roles for two government agnecies, the Design Council and the Housing Coporation.

        • Jackie's experience and skills enable her to make connections and work effectively within organisations: with staff; managers; teams; Chief Executives; boards and trustees; as well as with service users such as residents, patients and students.
        • She works with people to help them to make the best possible contribution they can to their organisations, encouraging participation and involvement.
        • She currently works in a voluntary capacity for a newly established charity, and has previously been a trustee and Deputy Chair of the Patient and Public Involvement Forum for Wandsworth Primary Care Trust.
        • She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and holds a variety of qualifications in the use of psychometric, personality and development methodology tools.

Both are skilled at creating challenging, yet safe, opportunities to consider issues and reflect on the future, using careful questioning and listening to get to the heart of matter and enabling clients to take key decisions with confidence.
