Joanna’s coaching clients are senior executives and board members who need to know how to be effective leaders whilst maintaining a balanced life. Some are relatively new to such senior roles whilst others with more experience are searching for new meaning and purpose in their lives. Joanna’s approach enables her clients to be effective, be themselves, and tap into their potential, during periods of transition, either for them or for their organisations.

She trained with Management Futures; a leading coaching practice based in London and has the Certificate in Leadership Mentoring and Executive Coaching, accredited with the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM).

Many clients find a one-to-one coaching or mentoring approach effective in developing high performing individuals at senior executive and board member level. Joanna has used this approach to:
• enable a senior local authority manager to achieve successful career changes
• support the board chair of a housing association to become fully established in the role
• support a corporate director leading a high profile strategic change project
• enhance the skills of an established chief executive drawing on appraisal results

I worked with Joanna over several weeks during 2016/17 and found her to be an excellent coach. We worked together on some very specific work dilemmas and also looked more broadly at what I could do to change and reshape the patterns and behaviours which seemed to be holding me back. Joanna’s approach – always supportive but challenging when this would be helpful to me – worked really well. A beneficial and also enjoyable coaching experience.
